About

A personal publication, not a company.

I'm Shane Trimbur, a network and security architect. TrimburTech is where I write: essays on security engineering and applied AI, digests of papers I found worth the read, and the occasional detour into physics or biology when something outside my lane won't leave me alone.

Nothing here is a service offering, a pitch, or the position of anyone I work for. It's one practitioner thinking in public — sometimes about the systems I build, sometimes about ideas from fields I have no business in, which is usually where the good connections come from.

If you're after the professional record — work history, projects, credentials — that lives at shanetrimbur.com. If you just want the writing, you're in the right place: start with the blog or subscribe to the RSS feed.
